  • porcelain
sturdily potted with a tapering ovoid body rising from a recessed base to rounded shoulders and a narrow short neck, decorated in green enamels with underglaze-blue outlines with a pair of five-clawed dragons chasing 'flaming pearls' amidst wisps of clouds, between an upright lotus lappet band around the foot and a ruyi border encircling the shoulder, all below a band of beribonned bajixiang emblems below the straight neck, the base inscribed with a six-character seal mark

Condition

The jar is in very good overall condition. There are a few expected light scratches or minute wear to the enamels but overall these have been very well preserved.
