  • Jade, Wood
finely modelled with a winged mythical beast standing foursquare supporting a large flattened archaistic baluster vase and cover on its back, worked to the front and back face of the body with a taotie mask, the neck with upright blades, the stone of a very pale celadon white colour, silver-wire inlaid wood stand

Condition

The vase has a two chips along the mouth. One, visible in the photo, is restored, approx. 2cm long; the other is on the reverse, is approx 1.3 cm and not repaired.
