each well worked to one side with the immortals paradise, one plaque with Xi Wangmu descending on a phoenix, the other with Shoulao on a crane, with immortals gathered below, some standing on the terrace and others climbing the rockface, the reverse with an immortal and his attendant in a verdant landscape surrounded by imposing rocks, the stone of an even white colour highlighted with russet patches, wood stands

Condition

With expected surface wear and occasional nibbling to the edges. One plaque, the one with Shoulao descending, has a small nick (approx. 0.2 cm) on the bottom left edge of the reverse face. Both plaques otherwise in overall good condition.
