well carved in the round as a recumbent animal with head turned sharply to nuzzle its hind leg, the jade of a pale celadon colour with icy inclusions and small russet patches
Condition
The carving is in overall good condition with just faint surface wear as expected with age. The catalogue illustration is redder than the actual colour of the stone.
