all three carved in the round, the ‘boy and peach’ group with the boy wrapping his arms around a fruiting branch; the ‘two boys’ group with one boy playing the bianqing, the other youngster climbing on a vessel and grasping the stem of a lotus leaf; and the 'boy and lotus' group, the stones each of even pale celadon colour, wood stands

Condition

The three carvings are generally in good condition. With some expected nibbling and bruising consistent with age. The catalogue illustration is a tinge redder than the actual colours of the stones.
