the translucent stone of even celadon-white tone, well carved with the head of a praying mantis forming the hook and continuing to a slender elongated neck, the lower half of the broad arched stem modelled as a cicada with finely veined wings neatly tucked behind, the underside with a round knob celadon tone

Condition

The belt hook is in very good condition.There is some expected nibbling along the edges including a couple of insignificant nicks to the edge of the knob on the underside. The actual colour is slightly warmer and tinged to celadon compared to the catalogue illustration.
