circular raised on a splayed foot, set with a pair of butterfly-shaped handles suspending loose rings, the interior finely carved in high relief with a branch of flowering prunus and a spray of hibiscus detailed with a small lingzhi sprouting at the base, the translucent stone smoothly polished
Condition
The marriage bowl is generally in good condition. There are some nicks along the edges of the butterfly-handles and further nibbling or minute nicks along the edges of the foot. There is some nibbling along the edges of the flower sprays on the interior and natural russet veins in the stone as visible on the catalogue photo.
