the rectangular panel carved on one side with a scene portraying pavilions and courtyards surrounded by tempestuous waves, the dynamic scene accentuated with a boat sailing towards the pavilions and with large jagged boulders and lush vegetation including pine, wutong and willow trees, a bat with outstretched wings depicted soaring near the lingzhi cloud wisps, supported on a wood stand detailed with reticulated scrollwork

Condition

The panel is in overall good condition except for typical surface scratches and minor nicks and shallow chips to the fragile extremities, including the edges of the panel and the relief decoration.
