the shallow tray with an everted rim of quatrefoil form, the interior impressed with three lotus blooms among wave patterns with a border of meandering scrollwork, all glazed in green and amber; the ovoid flask modelled after a leather gourd prototype, surmounted by an arched crimped handle, covered in amber glaze falling well above the foot revealing a buff-coloured ware

Condition

There are some expected bruises or fritting along the edges of the tray, but overall it is in good condition. There is an unglazed patch in the glaze to the body on one side of the flask, and further typical firing imperfections but overall the condition is also good.
