Description
- ceramic
all three carved through the creamy-white slip into a greyish ware, the globular ewer decorated with a large peony blossom on each side; the bean-shaped pillow incised with a rabbit between large fern leaves on top and a border of feathery leaves around the side; the lamp raised on a spayed stem, carved on the broad rim with flower petals
Condition
There is fritting and flakes along the edge of the pillow, including a 1.5 by 1 cm flake to the rear edge behind the rabbit. The loop handle of the ewer is chipped and missing as well as its original cover. There are firing cracks to the spout and base. The lamp is generally in good condition. There is a chip to the edge of its rim and a few kiln grits to the underside.
