the stemcup applied with a thick black glaze stopping at the top of the stem revealing the light grey ware beneath, the mouthrim dressed with an ivory glaze; the jar with a wide neck, covered overall with a black glaze highlighted with olive-coloured streaks falling short above the foot exposing the dark grey body

Both have bruises to extremities and surface wear. There is also retouching to flakes on the rim of the vase.
