of cylindrical form, skilfully raised on three subtle feet, the base with a central circular plug, the tightly grained wood of a rich dark brown tone with a lustrous patina
Condition
The overall condition is very good with only some typical minor dents, light surface scratches and age crackles, especially to the base. The central circular plug to the base is a later replacement, temporarily secured. The actual colour of the brushpot is somewhat lighter and of a more reddish brown colour compared to the catalogue illustration.
