set with a single-board floating panel enclosed in a mitred rectangular frame above a recessed waist, the apron accented by cusped edges continuing to square-sectioned legs terminating in hoof feet carved with scrolls, the underside of the table top connected to each leg by sinuous ‘giant’s arm’ braces, the well-figured wood of a dark brown colour
