the first carved from a smoothly polished white stone with curling 'fingers' evoking Buddha's hand, the other carved from a yellowish-green stone in the form of a monkey clambering on a peach, one wood stand

Condition

The two carvings are generally in good condition. There is some expected nibbling or occasional very minute dents or nicks to the surface or along some edges or to the extremities. The actual colour of the finger citron is somewhat warmer and slightly more pale celadon compared to the catalogue illustration. The colour of the monkey is less reddish and more yellowish-green compared to the catalogue illustration.
