carved recumbent turning its head towards a cub clambering on its haunch, its body finely articulated by prominent ribs and a finely incised mane, the smoothly polished stone of even white colour

Condition

The carving is in good overall condition. The actual colour is somewhat warmer, with a slight celadon tinge and less yellow when compared to the catalogue illustration.
