A PALE CELADON JADE ARCHAISTIC PENDANT QING DYNASTY, 19TH CENTURY

in the form of an elongated disc surmounted by a clambering chilong, one side carved in low relief with scrolling lotus, the other with dots and coma motifs, the smoothly polished stone of pale celadon-white colour with several faint emerald green streaks

There are some light surface wear, expected original nibbling along the edges or to the extremities but overall the pendant is in good condition. The actual colour is darker celadon, much deeper and not as white as the illustration would suggest in the catalogue.
