the aged immortal sporting a long moustache and finely incised beard, carved standing grasping a spray of millet extending over his right shoulder, a boy attendant standing by his side holding a vase containing a spray of fruiting osmanthus, the jade of even white colour accented with touches of russet skin, wood stand

Condition

The figure is in good overall condition. There are some expected occasional tiny nibbles to the edge of the carving, including a nick to the edge of a leaf curling on the figure's left shoulder, or tiny bruises to the robe folds or the tip of the osmanthus berries, possibly originals. The figure is stuck to the stand. The actual colour is consistent if not slightly tinged to celadon when compared to the catalogue illustration.
