of cylindrical section, the exterior carved with a continuous scene rendered with a rural landscape arboured with large overhanging pine and wutong trees, the tranquil scene detailed with a stilt pavilion nestled behind jagged rockwork and tall trees, depicted with groups of scholars engaging in various pursuits, the bamboo of a warm caramel-brown colour

Condition

The brushpot is in overall good condition with small chips to the extremities as can be expected. There are also age cracks extending from the footrim as consistent with age.
