the red Adi Buddha seated in dhyanasana on a lotus throne, wearing a richly patterned patchwork monk’s robe heightened with decorated gold borders, with Sitatapatra, the white Tara, Pehar riding the snow lion, all in the lower register, and the Bodhisattva Manjusri above flanked by two Dalai lamas

Condition

The Thangka is in good overall condition with expected light fading and surface wear consistent with age. The thangka has been reframed several times with corresponding pinholes surrounding the images (visible on the photo). There are a few losses to the upper right and left with replaced insets, horizontal creases throughout and light expected staining overall.
