the historical Buddha seated in bhumisparsa holding the alms bowl, accompanied by thirty-four Buddhas of confession and his principle disciples Maudhgalyayana and Shariputra at either side of the lotus throne, Amitayus finely painted in the Karma Gadri style flanked by Maitreya and Vajrapani and surrounded by Manjusri Buddha and further figure of Amitayus on a green and blue ground, the third depicting Amitayus and consort surrounded by mandalas of Bardo deities

Condition

The Shakyamuni Buddha: There are a few splits in the canvas with repairs in the body and face as visible on the photo, creasing throughout, staining throughout losses of pigment, particularly in the top right corner.The Amitayus: Stained, rubbed and creased throughout as visible of the photo, with occasional losses of pigment.The Bardo: Surface accretion, creases and losses of pigments throughout.
