the Indian saint seated in vajraparyankasana on a lotus holding the vajra, the kapala and khatvanga, surrounded by a multi-coloured halo, the guardian spirit riding a goat across a triangular sea of blood
Condition
The Padmasambhava thangka is somewhat rubbed and abraded overall as visible on the photo, with occasional stains and vertical creases. The Damchen thangka with pronounced abrasion, staining and loss of pigment throughout as showing on the illustration in the catalogue.
