with a pear-shaped body rising from splayed foot to a waisted neck and flared rim, set to one side with a double-stranded strap handle opposite a short cylindrical spout, covered overall with a creamy-white glaze suffused with a matrix of crackles and falling short of the solid foot to reveal the pinkish-white body

Condition
The tip of the spout has two restored flakes, measuring approx. 0.7 by 0.7 cm and 0.3 by 0.3 cm. Apart from a few minor flakes to the unglazed foot and some characteristic firing imperfections, the overall condition is quite good. The actual colour is slightly less reddish than the catalogue illustration.
