finely potted with shallow sides rising to an everted rim, resting on a widely splayed foot encircled by a raised rib, applied overall with an even deep olive-green glaze with very fine yellow speckles, the underside of the foot impressed with a three-character zhi ben tang mark

Condition

The stembowl is in excellent condition. There is a tiny area of glaze shrinkage, covering approx 0.1 by 0.05 cm, and a minute blackspot of approx 0.3 by 0.1 cm to the interior of the bowl. The actual object is of a rich olive green tone, brighter than that of the catalogue illustration.
