the compressed globular body rising from a splayed foot to a broad tubular neck, skilfully applied with a rich copper-red glaze transmuting to a pale celadon glaze around the neck, the pale celadon interior and base suffused with fine crackles
Condition
The vase is in overall good condition. There is a 0.7 cm flake to the red-glaze around the foot at the edge with the footring, possibly original to the firing and well as further gaps to the red glaze pooling around the footrim, consistent with the type. The actual colour is consistent with the catalogue illustration,
