Condition

Apart from a small firing crack to each of the box (approx. 0.3 and 2 cm, partially underglaze) as well as some minor stained pinpricks, the overall condition of the pair of boxes and covers are quite good, with only some expected light wear to the enamels. The covered teapot is in overall very good condition, except for a shallow flake of approx. 0.3 cm to the unglazed inner mouthrim and some scattered pinpricks. There are some expected enamel wear, especially to the gilt decoration and iron-red.
