Description

  • porcelain
with shallow rounded sides supported on a tapered foot, finely enamelled on the interior in shades of green and iron-red with a scrolling flower spray and curling tendrils, the central trefoil blossom sprouting iron-red stamen, the underside similarly decorated with a leafy scrolls and trefoil blossoms, the base inscribed in underglaze blue with a six-character reign mark within double circles

Condition

The unglazed footring has a filled-in flake of approx. 1.1 cm. Apart from a few original firing specks on the rim and some occasional burst air bubbles, the overall condition is otherwise very good.
