Condition
This work has never been restored. The paint layer is unvarnished, as it should be. There are slight scuffs to the paint layer in the four corners and a small scratch to the paint layer in the sky in the upper left. As is typical for this artist, it seems some of the paint layer has developed tiny cracking—in this case in the striped kaftan of the figure and in the landscape to her right. However, these are not indications of any instability, except for possibly a few spots in the landscape. The scratch in the sky on the left side couldbe resolved.
