Condition

This work is painted on Masonite. The paint layer is stable and unvarnished. Apart from some scuffs around the extreme edges associated with the original frame, there are no actual paint losses. The red gown of the small figure on the lower center developed some drying cracks, as has the green cloak of the mounted knight in the center of the left side. Very fine cracking has developed in some of the horizontal brush strokes in the foreground in the lower part of the picture. Restoration is not recommended.
