Condition

Pile ranges from 1/6in. with dark browns oxidized to knotheads and foundation, areas of foldwear also low to knotheads. Repiling to dark browns along both sides. A quarter-size repaired hole near center, a 2in. by 3in. reweave in lower left corner. A small 1in. by 1in. reweave in left edge. 3-cord wool selvages with losses and some later overcasting. Ends secured with binding stitch. Burlap handing tape sewn on reverse. Supple handle, sound fabric and condition. Please note that a license may be required to export textiles, rugs and carpets of Iranian origin from the United States. Clients should enquire with the U.S. Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) regarding export requirements.
