Condition

Good, lustrous near original 1/5in. pile with dark browns oxidized lower so outlines virtually disappearing. A 1.5 by 0.5 inch reweave along upper end edge. A 1in. by 3/4in. L-shaped reweave in upper anchor of medallion. Original 2-chord wool selvages intact. Remnants of flatwoven end finish at lower end as well as cable stitching along edge. Upper end trimmed and outer border now secured with a binding stitch. Dense weave, good overall condition.
