Condition
Slightly dry foundation with slits and repairs slits mostly in upper quadrant of rug. Pile ranges from near original 1/8th of an in. to low to knot heads in the upper quadrants of the rug. Minor moth damage and scattered spot stains. Minor vertical foldwear showing knot ties. Upper left corner with a 3in. repaired slit and a repaired hole. a 2in. by 1in. reweave. Sides with original purple silk selvages, small breaks and losses. Partial end guard boarders, now secured with a blanket stitch. Soft lustrous wool.
