Pile generally low to knotheads and foundation overall with warps showing in a line along central axis and splitting in areas across center of rug. A 3in. by 1.5in. reweave in center of rug. Minor old cobbled repair in lower end of field and a 2in. by 1in. repaired hole in field. A large stain in most of right side of rug, as visible in illustration. Scattered smaller spot stains. Trimmed wefts on sides, also fraying in areas. Ends with warp fringes and losses into end guard stripes. Will enhance with cleaning and some restoration. Sound fabric and condition for age.
