Condition

The larger with applied contemporaneous blue-green fringes on all four sides. Embroidery in excellent condition overall. Small areas of dark browns oxidized showing pen sketchmarks and ground. Cotton ground with minor spot stains. Small abrasions in the lower areas at the three panel joints. A printed linen backing and silk banding sewn on reverse. The smaller with some losses and surface abrasions to embroidery. Small scattered stains to white cotton ground. Holes at each of the four corners; approximately 1in. by 0.25in. each. With plain linen backing and striped silk backing on reverse, now with stains and abrasions, losses.
