Pile ranges from near original closely sheared, approximately 1/10th of an inch with small scattered areas of foldwear and moth damage low to knot heads and spot foundation. Upper edge worn low to knotheads and spot foundation. Original upper kilim end finish folded under and sewn with 5 bites into guard stripes. Remnants of orignal selvages with losses into open outer brown red surround. A 4 in. diagonal loss to lower left corner. Glue residue on reverse. Very supple handle. Lustrous wool and sound fabric. Colors: purple-brown, matter, dark blue, blue green, medium blue, ivory, and natural dark brown
