Condition

Pile generally good approximately 1/6th of an inch overall. A 3/4 by 1/2 inch reweave near center. Scattered repiling probably due to moth damage, not extensive. Original three cord brown wool selvages. Upper end with approximately 2 in. by 2 in. reweave in right corner. Original flat-woven finish folded under and sewn. Lower end with a brocaded checkerboard design and fringes replaced approximately 6 inch on left corner. Lustruous wool, flexible handle, good overall condition.
