Condition
Pile in most colors near original 1/8in. with walnut oxidized to knotheads. Small scattered areas of horizontal foldwear low to foundation; most visible in center of rug where there are also two areas of vertical foldwear. Original polychrome three-cord wool selvages with small losses. Lower end with partial outer guardborder, now secured with a blanket stitch, remnants of fringes in left corner. Upper end with 1/8in. to 1/4in. madder kilim end finish with minor losses, now upper end sewn with Velcro strip on reverse. Scattered spot stains. Supple handle, good overall condition, vibrant colors.
