Condition

Pile ranges from near original 1/6in. to low to knot heads and minor spot foundation in areas of foldwear. Dark browns oxidized to 1/10in. and low to knot heads creating a nice relief effect overall. A few scattered small reweaves with the two largest ones being one near center approx. 3in. by 1in. and one in right side inner guard stripes by field, approx. 2in. by 1/2in. Some scattered small repaired holes. some scattered spot stains and surface dirt. Reselvaged with selvage detached in areas. Upper end with remnants of original flatwoven finish, now secured with cross stich and with Velcro band sewn on reverse. Minor partial lower end, now secured with cross stitch. Lustrous wool, sound fabric, will enhance with some restoration and cleaning.
