Pile generally good, near original, closely shorn approximately 1/8in. Scattered minor areas of wear low to knotheads in field. Sides complete with open ivory outer guardborders and 2-cord selvages with some fraying and losses and small repaired areas. Ends secured with a blanket stitch. Surface dirt overall; should enhance with cleaning. Dense weave, flexible handle, good overall condition. Please note that a license may be required to export textiles, rugs and carpets of Iranian origin from the United States. Clients should enquire with the U.S. Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) regarding export requirements.
