Pile generally good, near original 1/6in. overall with center of field low to knotheads. A 14in. by 1in. replied foldwear area near center of field. Smaller scattered replied spots. Selvages mostly intact. Upper end with remnants of flatwoven finish and knotted fringes. A 3in. repaired slit into upper end. Both ends with uneven outer guardborder; recommend securing. Lustrous wool, supple handle, sound fabric and condition. Please note that a license may be required to export textiles, rugs and carpets of Iranian origin from the United States. Clients should enquire with the U.S. Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) regarding export requirements.
