Pile generally good, dense, 1/8in. with areas of foldwear low to knotheads, especially in upper end. An 18in. repaired foldwear slit into upper edge. Dark blues running, especially in upper end., possibly due to overly aggressive cleaning. Sides later overcast. Ends with partially rewoven end guardstipes, now secured with a cable stitch. Dense, robust weave, flexible handle, lustrous wool. Please note that a license may be required to export textiles, rugs and carpets of Iranian origin from the United States. Clients should enquire with the U.S. Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) regarding export requirements.
