repiled blue-greens
Condition
Blue-green in medallion and spandrels repiled. Pile ranges from good 1/8in. in colors with dark brown outlines oxidized to knotheads, most of central area of carpet worn low to knotheads as well. Repiled areas, probably due to old moth damage. Scattered Kashmir repiling. An 18in. by 8in. stepped reweave in lower right corner, some further small reweaves. Rewoven end guardborders. Remnants of original selvages, now generally reselvaged. Flexible handle, good archaic design, restored and ready for use.
