Condition
Pile generally good, near original 1/6 inch with minor scattered areas of oxidized light browns low to knotheads, a few warp ties showing, and scattered moth damage along lower end now with repiling---very well executed. A 6 inch repaired vertical foldwear slit along upper end edge, with a few similar smaller repaired slits---to allow carpet to lie flat.
Sides reselvaged and ends secured with a binding stitch.
Chemically washed to subdue colors.
Very lustrous wool, sound fabric and good overall condition.
