Condition
Pile generally good near original closely shorn 1/8in. with scattered moth damage and foldwear low to knot heads and spot foundation, most visible in left border. Scattered spot stains and surface dirt; should enhance with cleaning. Yellowish stains; mostly in lower end of field; now stiff, recommend cleaning. A glued patch to the reverse in lower right corner; only visible on reverse and securing two repaired slits. Repaired slit in other corner. Sides with polychrome wool selvages with losses and fraying, later overcasting; recommend securing. Missing end guard stripes, ends now secured with binding stitch. Flexible handle, good archaic design, good overall condition.
