Condition

Pile ranges from 1/5in. with some light brown oxidized to knot heads and foundation; most visible in lattice work. Scattered rewoven areas now quite visible due to fading. The largest reweave is approx. 2ft. x 6in. in upper end of medallion. Selvages intact. Scattered moth damage with some repiling outer blue surround. upper right corner with slits and holes, recommend restoration. Partially rewoven ends with uneven warp fringes. Lower end with remnants of flatwoven finish. Lustrous wool, flexible handle, sound fabric.
