Tirage albuminé d'époque (125 x 178 mm), contrecollé sur carton (140 x 190 mm), légendé "Nos Contemporains chez eux" à l’adresse du photographe "Dornac & Cie, 10 rue Adam Mickiewicz". Au verso, à l’encre noire, inscription manuscrite "Paul Verlaine" et cachet "Jules Hautecoeur 172 rue de Rivoli".

Verlaine attablé au café François Ier.
De la même série que la précédente, mais avec quelques différences dans l'attitude de Verlaine, yeux mi-clos et portant un chapeau ; sur la table, un verre de vin a remplacé le verre d'absinthe.
