Très bon état général.

Méry est de trois-quart, un éventail dans la main droite et un autre dans les cheveux, le bras gauche replié venant rejoindre l’autre main.
Ceci peut nous faire penser à Nina de Callias, dont Manet réalisa le célèbre portrait La Dame aux éventails.
Dans les années 1880-1890, les frères Goncourt avaient remis au goût du jour l’art japonais.
