Description

  • walnut, pine, poplar, giltwood
  • 129cm. high, 66cm. wide, 48cm. deep; 4ft. 3in., 2ft. 2in., 1ft. 7in.
with foliate finials above a rectangular padded back above down-scrolled arms and padded seat on square legs joined by an H-form front stretcher, bobbin-turned and baluster stretchers on bun front feet, upholstered in brown velvet with gilt-metal thread scrolling foliate applique work

Condition

In overall good conserved condition. There are chips to top of finials and there is a construction crack running down the left finial when facing. Evidence of old woodworm which appears no longer active. Chips to feet and some of the stretchers. The stretchers look later.
