Description

  • 81cm. high, 65cm. wide, 44cm. deep; 2ft. 7¾in., 2ft. 1½in., 1ft. 5¼in.
with a mottled grey and pink marble top above a scrolled cartouche, cabriole legs and scrolled feet joined by a stretcher, the whole carved with acanthus leaves on a trelliswork ground

Condition

Marble to recheck and size In overall good conserved condition. Old very minor marks and chips to gilding which can easily be touched up. The piece is slightly dirty and would benefit from a light clean according to taste. There are some hairline construction cracks at the joints as visible from photographs which can be filled or left. There are some largish chips to the gilding on the legs which can easily be touched up. The right leg when facing has a restored break. There are two later circular blocks beneath both feet.
