Overall the condition of the marbles is good, with wear and dirt to the surfaces consistent with age. The reliefs appear to be carved from three different types of marble. There is veining to the marble, consistent with the material, notably red veins to the woman's face and darker veining to two of the Bacchic boys. The nose of the figure with larger leaves is carved separately, and the woman's head is carved separately from the relief background. There are several chips and abrasions, notably to the tip of the nose of the boy with smaller vine leaves, to the bridge of the nose and chin of the boy with flowers, and around the outer edges of the reliefs. There are also chips to the truncations of the woman and the figure with larger leaves. There is an area of particular dirt to the relief with the figure with larger leaves on the far right side. There is some weathering to the surfaces. The mottled red marble frames are in very good condition, with some minor wear along the edges. There are several areas with fill, probably due to naturally occurring open veins. There is a metal mount for hanging to each reverse.
