Description

  • red deer, fruitwood
  • 119cm. high; 3ft. 11in.
in the form of a deer head mounted with a set of red deer antlers of nine points, bearing a coat of arms

Condition

In overall good conserved condition. There is a loss to the base of the right antler as visible from the catalogue photograph. Old very minor marks, chips and scratches. Old minor restorations and losses. The upper section of the backplate possibly a later addition.
